x3 Magnifying Hood BMCC DIY $4
My take on a practical all enveloping x3 magnifying hood for BMCC. Cost $4. Key ingredient empty food container.
Please view if interested. Cheers. |

Ron ,
Very cool. I like DIY stuff. I am thinking about trying to make one of the DIY Merlin 2 stedicams I see on YouTube. I currently have the Canon EOS-M camera which is very small and weighs next to nothing. If it works, why not? Cheers, Alex |

Nice way to rig it, Ron.
I made one for mine in April. See it here.

Re: x3 Magnifying Hood BMCC DIY $4
Hi Chris,
Thanks for your comment. I'm a fan of the WA adapter, intend using a Nokton 25mm F0.95 with a .46 Fujiyama. An ebay special, however it's tack sharp with very little edge distortion. Handy, as it should finish about 24mm. In a pinch the lens + adapter will do most things for me. Cheers. Ron. |
