Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
thanx Edward, but that only shows the BMCC and I was asking about the new Pocket Camera manual. Do you know where that can be found?

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
I have tried that location many times (and just now) and it always brings up the BMCC manual and not the pocket camera even though I select the pocket camera in step 3.

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
I'd give them a call. They're very nice, I've had to call them before for RMAs.

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
Ill confirm as well, selecting the pocket camera brings up the 2.5k camera user manual.

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
Aren't they going for a unified firmware, so screen/key options should be the same/similar?
That was my understanding, so that's why I figured there was only one manual. It is possible that given firmware isn't finished yet they're still adding features, so no point in releasing a manual. |

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
The software is basically the same. There aren't any differences aside from two new features that have just been added in the last few days.
One is AF. The other is a more accurate battery indicator. Eventually these two new features should make it across to the other cameras so they'll be uniform. jb |

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
From my current location I can see clear across the Tasman and lo and behold I see a fast-moving vessel heading this way and on closer examination I spy in the hold a huge container labelled BMPCC. So given the inevitable dead slow shenanigans getting things from entry to final point of destination in God's country I reckon about the end of next week.

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
when i started this thread on July 8, I also sent a letter that day to BM from their website form asking about where I can get the manual for the pocket camera. They never replied.

Re: User Manual 4 BMPCC
The manual is now available on blackmagic's site, along with the camera utility.
