Rivers End
I don't think this one was out on the film circuit, I believe it went direct to DVD and was released for sale in Wal Mart stores a couple of weeks ago.
Starring Barry Corbin (portraying a West Texas lawman like many of us in this part of Texas have probably met and known) and an up and coming young actor, Sam Huntington. Written by a fellow who grew up in Menard, Texas and filmed in the vicinity of Marnard (much of it on and around the Lee Pfluger ranch), this is a good portrayal of a young man with a real attitude coming to face with a lot of things about life. The photography is well done, the scenery is typical of where the Texas hill country meets the edge of West Texas and the whole film is highly entertaining. Well worth ordering (or renting if it's in rental places), I highly recommend this one. |
