I was excited for a moment at the prospect of Jack fighting through the whole day in beard and Chinese coat but alas...

The emergence of Jack from the C-131 in a beard and shackled, reminded me of Michael Bay's "The Rock" --the scene when we first meet imprisoned super agent Mason (Sean Connery) who is probably a cousin of 007.
Still, was there any doubt that Jack would return? He *is* the show, and I really wondered how they were going to resolve this issue. Come to think of it..."Die Another Day" has 007 in a Korean prison for a while too...and he was also sporting a beard. |
