I thought the movie was great and the Roy Buchanan during the closing credits was cool, but....is that really how we sound (or how you think we sound) in Boston?
Geez....ah nevermind ;-) |

This is by far the best movie of the year. It's the reason I love movies. I read a review that praised the movie as though God himself had directed it that summarizes what I think I love so much about it. The reviewer said seomthing to the effect of: "...But it is director Martin Scorsese who finds himself in phenomenal form. Watching The Departed is like watching all the lessons of the last quarter century of film unveiled before you. From the film's electrifying opening to its compelling conclusion, every moment you are in the presence of movie mastery." |
