Brian DePalma
There is a nice write up about Brian DePalma in today's NYTimes by AO Scott.
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/17/movies/17scot.html I have to say...he does makes a bunch of turkeys, but damn... Carrie, Blow-Out, Dressed to Kill, Body Double, Scarface, The Untouchables, Carlito's Way, Snake Eyes and Femme Fatale... A whole bunch of movies I sometimes consider guilty pleasures. |

Incidentally, is "Black Dahlia" worth watching?
I kind of wish Curtis Hanson followed up "LA Confidential" with it instead of de Palma.
