Talladega Nights: The ballad of Ricky Bobby
I'd call this the new Caddy Shack but with NASCAR. We'll probably be quoting Talladega for a long, long time. In addition, it manages to also have a small story with a some heart to it. In the end it's funny and I found myself laughing out loud more often than not.
While I love Will Ferrel, his movies have been hit or miss, many times with long drawn out un-funny parts with a few good parts in between (think Anchorman). There are a lot more "good" parts in Talladega and they are strung together better. For me, it's Ferrel's funniest movie to date. I can't wait to add Reeky Booby to my DVD collection. Thank you 8 pound 6 ounce Baby J ... (see the movie to find out what that meant ...)
