"The Final Cut"
I saw this for the first time last night and was pulled in because it is a movie about the life of a "Cutter" (an editor or video/audio embedded in a chip in the brain).
There was an AMAZING steadicam shot in the film when Robin Williams is leaning against a concrete wall and the camera approaches from the side, swoops in under him looking up at his face and then continues out the other side.

Thanks for reminding me about this movie... I recall hearing about it when it first came out. Now it's on the short list of things to see.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. Unfortunately it got bashed by critics and didn't see much screen time.

I was rather dissapointed by the film. Just the feeling I had. the concept was fresh an original, but the eventual film was a failure. There are definately some good scenes in it but for the most part it kind a shaked. But hey that's my opinion :-).
p.s Am I the only one who is disgussed with Jim Caviezel's false beard :-) |
