Just because you can
Just because you can, does it mean you should?
My wife is watching some TV just now a lot of it is just too dark for me to follow. Just because cameras can now video in darker situations. For my old eyes, I hate it.

The reason I ask is that I'm an old guy too. My eye doctor hates that my eyes dilate so poorly -- he has difficulty seeing in, and thus can't see my retinas as well as he'd like. From my side, it means I have poor night vision. Yet, I've not seen any TV or movies that are too dark for me to follow. I actually enjoy shadow tones more than midtones or highlights. So my first suggestion is to get your TV calibrated. If that doesn't help, get yourself to an eye doctor and find out why. |
