New York in 1911
Exceptionally well done with what looks like a HD quality capture of the original footage, not a lazy upscale.

That's utterly outstanding Andrew. Not often I feel like I have been in a time machine. The speed correction and whoever built the soundscape, well it's just pure magic. You feel like you are there. Thanks for posting the link. I've already flicked it on to others who will love it. Well spotted indeed. Just checking out this Guy Jones channel shows he has dozens of awesome videos. I'll be watching more of them for sure!

Re: New York in 1911
Very cool indeed, but listening with earbuds, the total audio dropout between EVERY scene is disconcerting/jarring and takes me out of the moment. I don't get that decision.
Thanks for sharing Jeff |

Apart from projecting it natively the best way to handle 18fps is to convert to 60p using (AAA, BBB, CCCC), alternatively you can convert to 24p using (A, B, C, D, EE) to 22fp and a modest speed up to 24p.
Here is a 24p conversion: And a 60p conversion: Last edited by Cary Knoop; May 4th, 2018 at 09:52 AM. |
