This was a movie I saw at the Flanders Film Festival in Belgium. A Debut from a performance artiste (who also plays the female lead in the movie)
Liked it very much!
I even think it was shot in HD but you really can't tell, it looked just like 35mm!

(btw this is the link to the trailer, which looks very dark here on my computer, but the movie itself is very bright, so must be a mistake in the trailer)

I've got a live performance Miranda July did in 2002. She was filming her movie at the same time we were editing it (2 years later) and seemed really stressed out when I spoke with her a few times.

Anyway, we found out there's a place in the video where everybody screwed up filming it at the same moment and it sort of brickwalled the project. I didn't have the heart to tell her.

I had guilt for over a year on this because I really wanted to impress her. The piece we filmed was the first bit of performance art I have ever enjoyed.

I looked up her film about 4 months ago and was floored that she won so many awards. I'm sure she has forgotten about us. She's a wonderful person and I felt genuinely proud of her when I found out all had gone well with her film.
