The Reckoning movie
This evening after galloping up and down the summit ladder fixing storm damage, walking all brace-legged on the slippy roof like when I was a fifties kid in hard soled leather shoes on polished boards, I goaded my weary stiff limbs into the car and down the hill to see "The Reckoning" followed by the Q & A session afterwards at the Hoyts Carousel Cinemas.
Trust me, it is worth a look in the cinema where the richness of the big screen, sound and ambience will work best for you. There is nothing Australia-cringe about this film. West Aussies might recognise one or two spots in passing but there will be no temptation to drop out of the story to play "spot the location". The characters are genuinely worth caring about and very well played. Don't just wish it well. Go and see it for yourself. Let people know about it. |

Re: The Reckoning movie
Apparently tonight is the last night of the Australian cinema run of "The Reckoning", so if you want to see it in the big room, you had better get a move on.
