Well this new series failed to keep me awake in the dark. Seemed like typical network fare - bad plot, bad acting, bad script. Aside from the novelty of seeing Brent Spiner again (even though he had hardly any lines) I couldn't make it any further than halfway through the season opener.
Switched channels and am watching Battlestar Galactica now :-) |

Brent got a lot more lines in the second half, and the end was interesting in a X-files sort of way. Still, I don't think it will last past Nov sweeps. Same could be said for Surface, but I'll give both of them a little time to develop. Surface is taking a risk by showing some of the monsters right up front (usually not done in most formulaic stuff).
But the whole 'Govt covering up the truth stuff' has gotten old. We already know it's the Canadians darnit, why keep reminding us. hehehe Haven't seen Invasion yet. |
