translation please?
Hi people,
I was just watching this new reality show called INKED about tattoo artists and some one said, "It's off the freakin' chain, man." I've heard this said before but what exactly does it freaking MEAN, man? I feel so old... Thanks, Steph |

Stephanie,
In my age group vernacular, it is something quite swell. It is derived from the thought of acting just as a dog would act if you let it off the chain, wild, tail-wagging, and liberating.

I wouldn't know except I had to threaten one of my teenagers to lighten up on the "freakin" or I chain him to his room. So he's accommodated, in front of me at least, and I think that's "off the freakin' chain".
