Brooklyns Finest...Blury??? at DVinfo.net

Just got back from watching Brooklyn finest. Good film.

What I did notice though, in fact more than notice, was that alot of what I was watching was blured/at best slightly out of focus.

It was really quite distracting.

For instance there is a scene where Don Cheedle is handling a mobile phone. His hand/phone fill the screen. both hands and phone are on the smae plane.

But his left hand touching the phone is in focus, and the right is not.

Another is when the camera moves into the missing persons pster on the wall. Its almost, but not quite in focus. I noticed it a huge amount.

The stuff on differnt planes I can understand,. but it seemed like alot of stuff on the same plane was blury except for the centre of the image.

Was this intentional?
Projection problem?

Has anyone else noticed it??
