King Kong video stuff done in HDV!

This hilarious video shows the FX1 and maybe even the HD10--it's hard to tell. heath

Yup, I brought this up in the FX1/Z1 forum a few days ago...
It's definately cool to see them in use. I guess we'll have some fairly definitive answer as to how this looks when downconverted to DVD, when the Kong DVD comes out. |

Great, now if only someone could those using the cameras how to use manual exposure. Someone wrote a while ago that with the HDV cams we could be seeing the end of manual features - well, not exposure if these clips are anything to judge by!

Well, I wasn't sure what to make of the quality, given the fact that they're way over compressed with MPEG-4. That's why I figured I'd wait until the DVD to make an assement.

We'll probably get native HDV clips from that. Whatever flavor of hi def DVDs Universal eventually goes with.

I like how the editor uses "sunk" as the past tense of "synch."

Have to say I use "sunk" the same way, sometimes if I'm not careful, "sunked", but that's my Norfolk heritage creeping in. I think it might be a British/Commonwealth thing. Most people I know say "sunk".
"sinked" just doesn't sound right... |
