i know you may throw up but i actually like michael bay's technical directions in his films. the shots are always silky smooth and they are just so aesthetically pleasing to look@. the problem (as always) lies in the script/story/plot/dialogue of his big budget films. i suppose you can blame jerry bruckheimer for that. JB has produced all of big action films that bay has directed so far.

now, for the first time, michael bay will be directing a work NOT produced by JB. hopefully the script will be better than his usual crap, BUT i'm skeptical. if you goto imdb.com and look@who wrote it, it went through several hands.

The Island is a great movie, real well made.
