Taking Chance
Anyone else seen it? Really impressed how they pulled that movie off with such a low budget. One of the best films about war I've ever seen. It started slow but by the end I felt more moved than I had been after watching Schindler's List.

I watched it a few months ago, 3 times actually. Having done escort service once, back in the 1970, I can tell you I thought the film was well done and worthy of the subject.
It really makes people think. Excellent film. BTW, I'm sure you know the movie was based on a true story.

Don, I can't imagine that job you must have had. I only watched the film because I went to school and played football with Mike's younger brother Mark in Grand Junction, Colorado. I honestly didn't think the movie would be any good. I was wrong.
Quick aside, when Mike came home on leave he REFUSED to buy Mark and I beer for a party we were throwing. We were very upset with him. Upon further reflection, I see that there are some people just born with more common sense and morality than others. |
