RIP Patrick McGoohan 1928-2009
Man what a rough day.
Two biggies. I hate to admit it, I have never watched the Prisoner. :( But I knew him from Escape from Alcatraz, Columbo, and the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh among others. |

Ice Station Zebra is still one of my all-time favorites... he will be missed.

"They've given you a number, and taken away your name..."
Wow, two in a day. Wonder if we'll have the third soon? (Always seems like they go in threes.) |

I am expecting that a memorial plaque to him will be erected somewhere in Portmeirion where "The Prisoner" was filmed, though it will probably take a year or so to happen. I go there regularly and will keep an eye open.

Prisoner is one of my all time favourite shows, I'll miss him. And rewatch the whole Prisoner soon. :)
