Don't know if this Spanish horror flick has been released outside Europe yet but I would recommend it as a must- see when it comes your way. Much better that Cloverfield which it has similarities too ( news crew follow Fire Brigade to a call out in an apartment block and find something unpleasant in there) All shot POV very effectively and very scary too (unlike most of Cloverfield!) and packed into 78mins.

It was remade in the US as Quarantine, correct. Unfortunately, they made an "arrangement" with the distributors of Rec that will keep it from ever coming to North America, which is too bad.
