Garth Marenghi's "Darkplace" - mock 80s sci-fi thriller
Has anybody heard of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace? It was on Channel 4 in Britain in 2004 for just 6 episodes. Fictional writer/director/actor Garth Marenghi presents these "long-lost" episodes that were supposedly shot in the 80s, airing in 2004 for the first time. It's a cheesy sci-fi thriller that takes place at Darkplace Hospital. There's horrible acting, lighting, directing, editing, sound... a great laugh if you know it's intentional (probably why it only lasted 6 episodes).
There are episodes on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNfQ0ORwSDM For a better explanation than mine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garth_Marenghi's_Darkplace Official Garth Marenghi site: http://www.garthmarenghi.com/ Very inspiring, haha!
