playing back 1080i w/JVC HD-50
I just received a 1080i tape and can't get my hd-50 or gy-hd100 to play the tape. I switched all the internal setting i could find and still nothing. No downconverted output through composite, component or y/c.

the answer is no. From the JVC site.
http://www.jvc-victor.co.jp/english/...faq/index.html "Q8 - Will the BR-HD50 record or play back HDV 1080i material? A8 - No." So why the 1080i setting in the menu and the reference to it in the manual? Kev |
