Can 2-3 pulldown be removed from DNxHD-TR clip?
How can 2-3 pulldown be removed from an HD 29.97 DNxHD TR-145 clip?
The clip has 23.98 HD video with the first frame always an A frame.

Steve, Just a hunch.
You might try using MPEGstreamclip in reverse. Export 145TR stream out of Avid as HDV, at best quality, import into MPEGstreamclip, convert to QT with 23.98 frame rate setting and pick your best codec dependent on where you're going. Sorry, that's the best route I could think of.
