Chroma Keying In Avid Free DV?
Is there a plug-in you can get for Avid Free DV so that you can Chroma key?
I looked at the spec sheets and it said it does not have one. So is it possible to get a free plug-in that can Chroma key? If not, is there any free Chroma Keying programs out there that I can get? Thanks in advance! ~Gabriel

Avid Free is a very stipped down editor. It will not allow any keys, DVE's, and it doesn't have the AVX plug-in architecture. It only allows up to 2 video tracks and 2 audio tracks along with some basic wipes and title tool.
If you're serious about post production you're going to have to spend some money somewhere. If you're tight on budget you might look at Avid Liquid, $500. In fact they have a trial version at www.avid.com. it certainly does a lot more than Avid Free. Good Luck.

Thanks David. Unfortunately, I do not have much for money. My camera I bought was only $300, and I don't think I am going to spend more on an editing program then I did on my camera. I am not a fan of editing anyways, I just need something to get me by. Thats why I was looking at Avid Free DV. I downloaded it to give it a try on uwol #2...
Thanks for the response. Any others out there? ~Gabriel
