Capturing with Avid Express Pro v 5.6.4
I'm capturing some footage shot with my HVR-V1U with the latest version of Express Pro; However, when I play back the footage it plays very choppy and the video lags behind the audio, which plays in real time. I have aPC with 2 MB of ram with serial ATA hard drives and a 3gig pentium 4 processor. Has anyone had similar problems or knows how to rectify the problem? The settings in Avid are 1080i HDV. I have also tried drop/non-drop, but to no avail.

Tom,
What framerate wasthe footage shot at? 24 or 30 fps. I'm not sure if the V1U 24 fps is supported yet in Xpress Pro.
