need help converting old Avid File
Hi everyone.
Since I'm not an AV expert, I'll try to explain the situation as well as I understand it. We have recently found 2 files in the original Avid .moov format. They were created back in 1999 using Avid from DV-casette (which no longer exists) and converted into .moov (don't ask me why?!?!?!) Since this format is no longer supported, it has been a struggle to find a way to convert these videos into usable .mov or .mpg formats. Apparently one would need to import them into a G4 Cube running iOS9 and QT7 and then export them again into current usable formats. Does anybody know of anybody who still has access to such technology to be able to do this for us please. I really hope there is somebody out there on this forum who can help. Thanx a billion Thorsten |
