image stabilization: MC5.5 vs MC 6.0
Does anyone here know whether the image stabilizer (region stabilize et al) in MC 6.0 is any better than in 5.5? The results in 5.5 are incomprehensibly poor. If there is no difference, do we know whether Avid intentionally downgraded stabilization performance in the 5.x series, and if so, why? At one time, I thought "regions stabilize" was a great quick fix for relatively minor issues over short spans of time, but no more.
Thanks for your thoughts. Tom |

Re: image stabilization: MC5.5 vs MC 6.0
Id say because the "Region Stabilize" hasn't been developed any further while "Stabilize" is what you probably should be using as that has been working extremely well for me, there is a lot more Stabilize can do as well.
