3D monitoring via Matrox MXO2 mini
Hi,
I am Avid editor and now I will started my first 3D project. I would like to edit this with Avid Media Composer 5.5 on my PC laptop with Matrox MXO2 mini. Please tell me, if I use cineform stereo mov files in Avid MC (via AMA) with Matrox mini connected to the Panasonic VIERA TX-P42VT20E (3D TV), will I having true 3D view on this TV (external view via hdmi from Matrox)? Thanks for help. |

Re: 3D monitoring via Matrox MXO2 mini
not sure about the codec, but the hardware is up to the job. as long as MC and the codec support the output format of the mini + display

Re: 3D monitoring via Matrox MXO2 mini
While I have not tried this particular set up, my impression is the MXO2 Mini can output via HDMI any 3D signal it is fed and is codec agnostic.
But I would definitely check this with Matrox first. |
