no input signal
I have captured always with HDVSplit, but now for the first time try AMC Capture tool.
My computer and other software on it recognise the camera (several HDV types) but AMC (software only) not. It keeps telling me that there is no input signal. I Have ofcourse restarted Avid, restarted the computer, but to no reveal. Any suggestion? |

Rob:
Sometimes you have to reset the DVbuffers (if you are on a PC). Go the the AVID forums and do a quick search to get the proper procedure. Also, make sure, if you are using an HDV deck, that its menu is set up to playback 1080i, and not set to "auto". That has caused my AVID to not recognize the deck before. Bill |

Also make sure your format settings is set to 1080 HDV.
Sorry for the late response.
