Uncompressed 8bit AVI import at DVinfo.net

Is there any reason anyone should have any trouble importing an 8bit uncompressed avi into any version of AVID?

Any and all thoughts appreciated,

your only problem may be injest limitations of your capture drive(IOW, drive write speed)
