Main Concept logo appears in video
I have MC 3.0.5 and am importing XDCAM EX 35 mb clips. They import fine, but they get a Main Concept logo in the upper left corner that is there for playback and stays even when a still frame is exported. What causes this?

Watermarking on output is typical for any DEMO version of software. This is either a demo copy, or needs to be registered perhaps to remove the watermarking.

If you used the Sony ClipBrowser v2 to generate the file input to MC, be aware that the only format that CB2 supports is MXF for NLE or AAF for avid. Anything else will be watermarked, as you've discovered, unless you want to pay BIG $$$$ for the mainconcept license.

Thanks...
Thanks for the answer. I discoverde that on an Avid forum an am up and running now. This problem was on my laptop, on the desktop I have the Main Concept MPEG application and so all the conversions worked.
Thanks again! |
