Trim All Clips to Exactly Five Mins?
I'd like to single roller trim each clip in my sequence to exactly five minutes long. Is there a quick way to do this?
When I go into Trim Mode I see how to do the trimming, but I don't see a way to specify the desired length, just the number of frames to add or remove. I also don't see how to select more than one clip for single trimming. Thanks very much! |

not sure if you can use trim mode to do that...
but this may help (or may not)...in your bin you can set in's and out's to multiple clips. Highlight the multiple clips you want while in "text" view and switch to "script" view and use the keyboard shortcut keys to scroll and set in/out points...so that way you can set the same duration to all your clips, but they all will have the same in/out points and you'd have to do it before you drag them into your sequence. This is helpful for editing in stills when you want all the same duration. |

Thanks Mike. It's a good tip. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but thanks very much for the help.
