Delivering XDCAM HD footage for editing in Avid Media Composer
What is the best way to deliver footage recorded with XDCAM HD (F350) or EX-1 to be edited with Avid Media Composer Adrenaline ?
My client can't read XDCAM discs or SxS cards, so I have to deliver on a double layer DVD. I am on a mac system, which format can I save my media in, that can be read directly by Adrenaline ?

Perhaps deliver in one of Avid's codecs if you can. DNxHD works with all Avid systems now.

Copy the files from the camera to a hard drive. Hook up the hard drive to the computer and import the files. This works for the F350. You have to have the most recent update (2.8.3) of Avid MC to bring in the EX1 material.
SXS CARD to Hard Drive (using sony clipbrowser 1.1) then import to MC 2.8.3. |
