Best compatible DVD authoring
Hello,
I'm finally running AXP 5.7.2 on a new intel-based mac system. Back in the windows-days I used a Sonic DVD application (included in the academic version of AXP) which I could use to directly "send to", in case I quickly needed a DVD release. I wasn't all to happy about it, but it did the burning eventually. Now that I'm running on mac I'm looking for a new application to author and burn DVDs. Which application can you suggest? greetings, Merlin

At my work I use a MAC with Avid Xpress Pro and we have DVD Studio Pro 4. It works really well. I would try that.

I often use iDVD and for simple stuff it works really well. You don't even have to create any menus if you use 'Import from Movie'. The resulting DVD will start playing as soon as it's inserted into the player and it will play in a loop. My workflow is to export QT reference file from Avid sequence and import that into the iDVD.
