Looking for another cam

Not sure if it's the right area but I have my JVC GZ-HD30U cam but I'm sure other cams that are better out now in the $500 range?

I don't know anything about this camera, but if you wanted to stick with JVC, the GZ-R450BUS is currently about $500.

I'd also look at all other brands though, models and prices change quickly. There are usually worthwhile online reviews on cameras that have been out for some time.
