Playing multiple AVCHD clips in Windows
Does anyone know of a program which allows smooth playback of selected continuous AVCHD files Directly from Windows Explorer ?
For instance, if I just want to quickly preview clips prior to importing them without having to actually bring them into the editor, I should be able to simply select the files I want to view without having to play each one individually. - At best I was able to do this, (with VLC I think), but between each clip there was an annoying break. Surely if the software in the camera can play all these files smoothly & continuously, there must be something available for the PC. RonC. |

The Sony software looks interesting. Does anyone know if it works with other camera files?

Re: Playing multiple AVCHD clips in Windows
As I have just installed PMB for my new NEX-VG20, I am hesitant to upset it until I have had a chance to check it out.

Re: Playing multiple AVCHD clips in Windows
Apparently the "Play Memories" software is to be the new version of PMB.
When installed, it actually replaces PMB & deletes it from your system. Play Memories does recognize my VG 20 and will play the video clips directly from the camera in sequence. The import & other functions that I commonly use are intuitive and easy to implement. I think it is an improvement over PMB
