Camera Setting
Mike,
There is a setting that can be used when a conversion lens is installed. It is found under... Home....movie settings then on the last page (4/4) is Conversion lens. Under this button is Tele Conversion, Wide Conversion and Off. What it does, as I understand it, is that it matches the Steady Shot level to the lens being used. So if you are on a tripod it might not matter. I found a good way to test the lens is to shoot across the water to an island or point of land that is a few miles away. If the lens is good, the whole line of tress will be sharp. If the edges are blurred, not so good. My 1.5 Tokina did not fair well shooting at Bois Blanc Island from about 5 miles away. I am very interested in how your Sony fares. |

Thanks Tom. I will be going out later this weekend if the weather cooperates, to test things out. I will report back then. Need to get this all smoothed out before I head out west on vacation.
