Canon HG21, Panasonic SD5, and Canon EOS 5D mk2... guru advice required
Hi,
Sorry for the diverse range of cameras listed. I have scoured these forums to get down to my shortlist. At present, I have a Panasonic SD5, and am looking to upgrade. My big issues with the SD5 (as indeed most camcorders) is the reds being oversaturated/blown out. I don't care about sound quality, as my subject is ornamental fish (carp), which are predominantly red & white, and filmed in a big blue bowl. The accuracy of the reds is of paramount importance to me. So, I am looking at the HG21 assuming it is considered a step up from the SD5?... or a Canon EOS 5D mk2 (I have an older Canon 5D for stills, so wouldn't mind upgrading this anyway). Many thanks, Mike. |
