Sony HDR0TG1: any better for editing? (Mac user)

Hi there,

In my long search for a camera that I can use as a second unit (handheld; along with my EX-1), I'm wondering whether I'd have more luck with this camera's footage (I edit in Avid, on a Mac, so could always transcode via iMovie first if I need to) than other AVCHD cameras...

From what I gather, the TG1 records in an .MTS file format... would this work out better for me than other AVCHD options, when it comes to editing... on a Mac?

Cheers, Malcolm
