AVCHD editing in Sony Vegas Pro 8
Is there anyone successfuly imported AVCHD files into Sony Vegas Pro 8?
I tried to import AVCHD footage from my SR7 but the program said this format isn't supported. Any comments? Thanks |

I have no problem . Use Sony Motion Browser to transfer clips and then use explorer window( clips are stored in Pictures folder unless you have changed storage location) in Vegas to include in project.

Same here, also with an HG10. Also, it reads the MTS files rather than requiring the camera to be connected or a specific directory structure.

Vegas 8 & AVCHD
even with the demo download from Vegas 8 Pro it works with Sony CX6 (PAL variant of CX7) - after transfer via Sony Motion Browser.
