New Ninja and the old Sony Z5U

Hi to all,
Sony HVR Z5 (on the list as compatible) in to the "New" Ninja.
The Ninja loses input every few seconds?
Out of camera settings Ive tried interlaced and PsF. Changed Ninja record settings to every option.
I've been recording 4K 50p Prores 422 from other cameras with no trouble. So Im ruling out an issue with HDMI cable and/or SSD speed.

Any help appreciated.

Re: New Ninja and the old Sony Z5U

Posting for anyone that finds this in the future.
Heard back from Atomos support.
The only devices still compatible with the Sony Z5 (and I would presume any other HDV camcorders)
are the discontinued Ninja Blade and Ninja 2.
Its an old HDMI protocol vs new HDMI protocol mismatch and cannot be solved.
They apologised and said there is no plan for a firmware update to fix it since these cameras are so old.
A shame really.

Interesting, and understandable.
