Now your iPhone can be a Ninja
They announced it at NAB. Pretty cool when you think about it. Then again, it's crazy that we can't use phone screens for inbound monitoring/display when they have such an economy of scale when it comes to their manufacture.

Re: Now your iPhone can be a Ninja
Great technology, but the whole concept loses me. "Oh! Sorry! Can we stop filming for a moment? I've just got an incoming phone call." Cameraman muttering under breath, "Now why didn't I put it into Airplane mode."
As nice as the screens are, a phone is a phone and a monitor is a monitor in my business, and it will remain that way. Chris Young |

Re: Now your iPhone can be a Ninja
Sony was showing this at NAB. Pretty cool.
Monitor, transmitter, and up to 1TB storage. About $1000. (not a phone) https://electronics.sony.com/mobile/...itter/p/pdtfp1

Re: Now your iPhone can be a Ninja
Sony also makes phones, so I don't understand your point.

Re: Now your iPhone can be a Ninja
I'm jokingly referring to the Atomos product.
