Re: Atomos Shogun with Sony A7s
Shot some Christmas lights in 4k:
Here is a link to download a 2.4 GB version of the video. It does not include the credits at the end, so as to keep the file size down. I set the target to 140Mbps in Premiere for export. Before you click, make your internet browser window full size and be sure to only click once. Depending on your connection speed this could take a while to download, so be sure to give yourself lots of time: http://www.mediafire.com/watch/6ebnz...opy_01_2GB.mp4 I used the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens [Mfr # 5175B002] at F2.8 for all shots. I adapted from E mount to EF with the Metabones Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Camera Lens Mount Adapter Mark IV [Mfr # MB_EF-E-BM4] White balance was 3200k. I changed the ISO a lot while shooting. Picture profile was off and creative style was standard. Premiere output was 3840 x 2160 VBR 2 pass, target 12Mbps. 3 minute 14 second file was 284MB in size. Shot on a Sony A7s with an Atomos Shogun from Omega Broadcast. Re: Atomos Shogun with Sony A7s
Shot another video. This one was set to S-Log2 and with the color space to Cinema. In Davinci Resolve I reversed the LUT so that the S-Log2 would become REC709. I did no additional grading.
Here is a link to download a 816MB version of the video. I set the target to 70Mbps in Resolve for export to QT (.MOV). Before you click, make your internet browser window full size and be sure to only click once. Depending on your connection speed this could take a while to download, so be sure to give yourself lots of time: UHD Guy and Bus 70Mbps target |

Re: Atomos Shogun with Sony A7s
You want to see the footage without a LUT applied? You want to see it without a LUT applied and posted to YouTube? I just looks worse. Chalky.
