Atomos FW v. 3.21 Issue
I have tried unsuccessfully to download the latest FW release v. 3.21. Has anyone else been having a problem? The error message I get says the 'Zip File' is empty.
Thanks, J. |

Re: Atomos FW v. 3.21 Issue
Well...I guess it's an issue. Another, sadly to say, in an ever growing 'list' of issues. Atomos just about gets their act together and then they do something like this to disappoint.
I mentioned it on the Atomos FB page, so I suspect the 'Service' folks will acknowledge the problem. I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned it, maybe they've given up? Regards, J. |

All fixed this morning. A little patience goes a long way.

Re: Atomos FW v. 3.21 Issue
Thanks for the update, Mike!
I agree, 'patience' is always the best course; however, this isn't the first time Atomos has 'announced' the release of a FW update pre-maturely. I like the product, and in their defense, Atomos has released excellent FW upgrades for the Samurai owners. Not so much for Ninja-1 owners. I hate to be "Debbie Downer", but I'm still waiting for the 'complimentary' spare BNC adapter cables and D-Tap power adapter. These were promised months ago. Then there's whole Avid software support announced at NAB '2012 for Samurai owners, where pre-production versions were given to the Press, and folks are still waiting for this 'pre-maturely' announced feature. Communication, more correctly, lack thereof, has been the worst issue associated with Atomos. I think they are trying to do better at communicating with customers. Atomos' involvement with DVInfo has been a great help. It's not a great track record. Best regards, J. |

Yeah, also still waiting on the D-Tap, the DNXHD update and the "Connect" SDI converters that I payed in January for.
I'm a patient guy and I love my Samurai, but this is getting on my nerves. Frank |
