Samurai screen protector?
I've looked through my old smartphone and even Hoodman screen protectors but not yet found a perfect size match for the Samurai screen. Anyone have screen protector suggestions for a good fit? I won't mind cutting something down either, and I'm not bothered by any resolution loss - greasy fingers on a screen annoy the heck out of me though.

Re: Samurai screen protector?
Thanks, it did finally occur to me that just getting a large iPad sized screen protector and cutting it to fit was probably the best way to go.

Re: Samurai screen protector?
Does the ZAG protector allow you to see the Samurai screen adequately to focus in bright sunlight? I have found that even with a 6 inch long, four sided hood that this is not possible, even in the grey days of an English summer!

Re: Samurai screen protector?
Geoff Addis...have you down-loaded the latest Firm-Ware? V. 3.0 seems to have increased the Samurai screen brightness. To me, it seems pretty good, but I'm not a great judge. I built a 'three-sided' monitor shade from Matte-Board and Gaffer's tape that really helps with the Sun.

Yes, I have updated to v.3, but I'm seeing very little, if any difference in brightness!

Re: Samurai screen protector?
Another readily available possibility is the screen protector for the Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet. Available at book stores nationwide (USA).

Re: Samurai screen protector?
Well, I definitely notice a difference in screen brightness as well as the screen is ~1/8" narrower (1/16" less top and bottom) then it was before. ATOMOS confirmed this in one of their video pieces from NAB '2012.
JMHO, YMMV. Regards, J. |

Mmmm! Don't see any difference in picture size either, but just about to update to 3.01 perhaps that will change things or perhaps there are different LCDs being used.
