Final Cut Pro 6 and EXTREME TOO!!!
Looks like Apple has some exciting stuff coming next month:-
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,2099257,00.asp Personally I would love a 34 Inch Monitor with 3840x2400 resolution. I am so tired of my tiny 30 Inch 2560x1600 :) |

To bad that article is just a re-hash of what ThinkSecret posted last week, which was a nearly exact copy of what they posted a year ago. :-/ ...Back when ThinkSecret originally reported Final Cut Extreme to be released at NAB last year, they also cited in that article that the RED ONE camera would be $200,000.
Anyway, I don't doubt Apple has some nice stuff in store, but I think a lot of the predictions flying around are complete BS. ...As usual.

Agreed; there's hardly any reason to spend time predicting this stuff when their announcements as to what they're really gonna do are just barely 45 days away at NAB.

I think the most exciting rumor is the one about a *multi-touch* screen.
A touch screen on a computer makes sense, as it has a strong tie in with the iPhone, but multi-touch offers the ability to sculpt, stretch, bend and mutilate, as well as to twist things around a 3d axis. Perfect for media creation. This video has been around for a while, but the technology has yet to launch into the mainstream. http://youtube.com/watch?v=1ftJhDBZqss I can't imagine Apple NOT going in this direction at some point in time.
