I decided to break all the NDA's the majors have me under. You'll see the following products and prototypes, all HD:
Panasonic: P2 Varicam with 1080p D5 with H264, 10 bit system to compete with CineAlta SR Sony: F950 camcorder HD XDCAM that was already announced Canon: W/A for XL H1 JVC: 1/3" and 2/3" MPEG2 CMOS cameras POV CMOS camera Thomson: New HD HDD-based system that was already announced Ikegami: CMOS camera recording to HDD CMOS POV camera I can't disclose this particular brand and what it is because there is the "kill" option in this particular NDA. All I can say is: Get ready for 3D! |
