Dear Camera Strap People
Thank you for making a strap that would come apart and let my D800/ 70-200 lens take a nose dive to the floor. I appreciate it.
Word to the wise, watch those straps.

Re: Dear Camera Strap People
Was this the original strap or after market? Is your camera/lens OK?

After market. It wasn't a cheap one though.

Re: Dear Camera Strap People
I'm used to quickly check my strap every time I start using my camera. I know it will hold it all day long so I only check it for the first time. Original strap.

Re: Dear Camera Strap People
Steven, ouch! I'm saddened about what happened. I use those cheap, thin, black-professional nylon ones for a dollar from the used camera strap boxes some camera shops carry. I hate straps but I know I have to use them because accidents happen hello.
