Canon has an iEOS App for Apple iPhone?
Anyone have details on this. Bloom twittered that it would be .99 cents.
What does it do? -C |

omg. Please delete this post.
I thought it controlled the EOS camera somehow... I think this is just wishful thinking on my part.
How cool would it be if you could trigger recording via an iPhone app! -C |

Nah - This is designed for still photographers.
That is the concept though - Have a computer server which allows use of its wi-fi to trigger via iPhone- just make it friendly for filmmakers who want to use it for waveform, shutter and framerate adjustments and to trigger video capture of course. Showing the vitals like, clip length of capture, space left on card and data-rate. If I was a hardware manufacturer - I would design a device to screw in to the bottom of the canon, plug into the USB port, have an embedded wi-fi card with a static ip address and a HTML config page in addition to the iPhone app - that would eliminate the annoyance of having a tethered computer. -C |
