New Samyang 1080p HD camera

Copied from Electronic Industry Secret Spy Newsletter:

Famous Korean lens maker Samyang, which also makes Sony Zeiss lenses decided there is big profit in HD, after spying on DIY forum here. Decided to make camera better than Sony though, improved specs:

Sony Z1...........Samyang SiSi1
25 fps.............26 rpm
3 CCDs............4 LED's
120-220V........120-220 kV, comes w/free lightning rod for charging in storm
1 lens.............2 lenses, one faces to right, one to left
DV tape..........8-track tape with disc backup (78 record recorder)
matte finish.....baby friendly slime and fur finish

They wanted to make OEM for Canon but Canon, after examining camera said thanks no, typical Canon attitude where they copied design secretely overnight before returning camera to Samyang (words of Samyang CEO). Samyang rep that loaned camera to Canon was castrated during Samyang board meeting and dropped from Samyang's corporate jet, with umbrella type miniparachute, over North Korean territory.

Is this a joke? I know this company might exist but I would call this a "pooh bear spy".

I just read about this, North Koreans are still holding the guy for "questioning". Samyang is now trying to buy Canon; why not they already own Nikon, Toshiba, Yokohama and A&W.

Can it use readily-available butane refilling cylinders? This camcorder may be the answer to a lot of questions nobody asked!

Latest spy news just came. It does not have spark ignition. DVD burner runs on Hyundai-Samyang three stroke diesel engine, camera motor uses latest fuel cell with rich organic methane odor to complement soothing diesel sound and odor. One more up on Sony: Sony camera has antishake and night vision modes, this camera has supershake mode and sun vision, which is vibrating sun visor made of sushi.
